The Wareham Gatemen are a collegiate summer baseball team in the prestigious Cape Code Baseball League, winning their first championship in 1930. The Gatemen are based in Wareham, Massachusetts and play their home games at Clem Spillane Field, “Spillane Field”.
The best college baseball players come to the Cape each summer to showcase their talents to scouts from every MLB organization. Fans flock to the games to watch a number of first round draft picks, future all stars and future inductees into the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame compete. Over the course of a summer season, over 20,000 fans come out to Spillane Field and enjoy Gatemen baseball home games.
The Gatemen are funded through a variety of sources including; merchandise sales, 50-50 raffle sales, personal donations, and corporate/business sponsorships.
The Gatemen organization is a registered 501(c)3 organization and our membership is 100% volunteer.
The Gatemen offer all sponsors the chance to advertise their messages to our diverse group of fans over many platforms. We use our extensive physical, print and digital assets as well as TV and radio advertising, and a new video scoreboard to get your name out there.
We offer physical signage throughout Spillane Field and across our outfield fence. We offer print ads (various sizes) in our media guide and other print materials. We offer digital advertising on our website and on our growing social media platforms. Web broadcasts including our pre and post-game show sponsorships, live in game advertisement, in game event sponsorships, and the chance for partners to sponsor nightly events and happenings at the ballpark.
