The Gatemen board the bus once again on Wednesday night to face the Brewster Whitecaps at Stony Brook Elementary.
Wareham has already won the series taking two wins and a tie out of the the three games they played. The Gatemen, however, are in dire need of a win as they fall further and further out of the playoff picture.
Brewster sits in fourth in the East with a record of 12-18-2 while Wareham has just one less win and holds last place in the West at 11-18-2.
Brett Wozniak (High Point) will start on the hill for the Gatemen. The lefty was the starter in the fogged out game against the Anglers that was completed on Tuesday night, but did not throw a pitch. He now comes into today with a 5.78 ERA through 4.2 innings pitched. The Panther has recorded three Ks through the two games he’s thrown a pitch in and walked just two batters. In his last outing, Wozniak threw for three innings and allowed two runs on five hits and walked two batters
