Wareham and Falmouth Face Off in Divisional Clash

The Wareham Gatemen will travel to Guv Fuller Field for a matchup with their division rivals, the Falmouth Commodores. Wareham looks to get back in the win column after their loss to Yarmouth-Dennis on Saturday.

Wareham will start Michael Sansone (Fairfield) for the fifth time this season. Sansone has had his moments but currently sits at a 4.82 ERA with a 0-2 record. The Fairfield product has struck out 24 batters in 18.2 innings pitched throughout the Summer.

Falmouth will hand the ball to Josh Hartle (Wake Forest) for his fourth start of the season. Hartle has pitched 13 innings to the tune of a 2.07 ERA. He has struck out nine batters and walked none so far for the Commodores.

The Gatemen offense has been a lot better in July, raising the team batting average to .232. They have hit 11 home runs and drove in 88.

Wareham will look to create some separation from Falmouth with a win tonight and improve to 11-12-3. For complete game notes click here.
