Last night’s game saw a lot of action in a short amount of time as umpires called the game just before 8:00pm due to safety concerns about field lights.
Jacob Cravey (Samford) will get the start for Wareham tonight. His best start for the Gatemen came on July 6 against Orleans, where he went five full innings. In that time, he gave up no runs on two hits, striking out four and surrendering only one walk.
Cotuit’s starter has not been named.
Until further notice, home games will begin at 5:00pm. We hope to have this issue with our field lights resolved as soon as possible. Until then, we will begin home games at 5:00pm at Spillane Field.
