Gatemen versus Anglers to be rescheduled to later date

The Gatemen and Anglers prepared for the Monday night matchup at Veterans Field. Both teams took the field as the fog settled in across the diamond. Nick McLain (Arizona State) stepped into the box and hit a leadoff single into the outfield to bring up Garen Caulfield (Arizona) in the two spot. Caulfield battled in the count and hit a bloop double into center field that the Chatham outfield lost in the grey skies. The Gatemen then had two runners in scoring position as the umpires met for a huddle.

Several delays later, the game was suspended and will resume at a later date.
