Manager Ryan Smyth and his Gatemen head back to Spillane Field for their first of two back to back home games. The Tuesday night matchup has Wareham going head to head with their first Eastern Division opponent of the 2023 season in the Harwich Mariners. Last year, the Mariners went 17-21-6, with two wins and two loses coming from the Gatemen.

After an opening night win, Wareham looks to step on the breaks of their two game losing skid. Monday night, the Gatemen came up just short in the pitching duel and now aim to recharge the energy and fire up the hot hitting from game one.

Coleman Picard (Bryant) makes his Cape League debut on the mound for Wareham. The righty started all 10 games he appeared in and ended the spring with a 2-2 record. His 59 strikeouts were the second most on the team, just behind his now Gatemen teammate Brett Wichrowski.

Fans can watch the game live on the Gatemen Baseball Network YouTube page with pregame coverage starting at 5:45 before the 6 p.m. first pitch.
