Wareham Travels to Bourne Needing a Win

The Wareham Gatemen are in desperate need of a win as they travel to Doran Park to take on the Bourne Braves. Wareham sits five points out of fourth place as their window to make a push for the playoffs continues to diminish.

Wareham will hand the ball to Jason Woodward (Florida Gulf Coast) for his sixth start of the summer. Woodward has been disappointing pitching to a tune of an 8.26 ERA across 16.1 innings pitched. He has allowed 24 hits while striking out just 14 batters.

Bourne looks to cement their playoff spot by starting Anthony Arguelles (Virginia Tech). Arguelles will be making his third appearance this season, coming in with a 3.60 ERA. He has pitched five innings and struck out six batters.

The Gatemen are in dire need of a win as they sit at just 11-17-6. They are running out of time to get into the playoff picture and need a bounce back start from Woodward to give them a chance.
