The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox will travel to Spillane Field for the last time this season in the final matchup between the Gatemen and Red Sox. The last meeting saw the Gatemen narrowly avoid being no-hit with a final score of 11-1 through only seven and a half innings.
Jacob Cravey (Samford) will get the start for Wareham tonight. He has appeared in six games for the Gatemen this season, and has pitched 22.1 innings for the team. Throughout that, he has struck out 21 batters, giving up 23 hits and walking nine men. He hopes to pick up his first win of the season as he currently holds a 0-3 record.
Drew Dowd (Stanford) will be on the mound for Y-D this evening. While he only has two appearances for the Sox, his 5.2 innings of work have been quite productive. Dowd has fanned eight, only surrendering four hits and two walks.
First pitch is set for 6:00pm at Spillane Field in Wareham.
