The Wareham Gatemen had an impressive night last on Friday with a 7-2 win over Cotuit on the road.
The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox will visit Spillane Field tonight to take on the Gatemen at 6:00pm: The last matchup between these two took place at Red Wilson Field where Wareham dominated the Red Sox 11-3.
Jack Sokol (Pensacola St) will make his Gatemen debut tonight and get the start. The right handed sophomore had 9 starts in 10 appearances for the Pirates this past season, striking out 68 and walking 11.
Jared Lyons will be on the mound for Y-D tonight. He hold a 1.96 ERA and is 2-1 on the season for the Sox. After Y-D’s tie with the Mariners last night, they also are looking to get in the win column.
The Gatemen currently have a 3-game win streak after last night’s win over the Kettleers. This is the longest active streak in the entire Cape.
