The Wareham Gatemen will travel to Stony Brook Field to take on the Brewster Whitecaps on Wednesday, July 27th. Wareham needs to continue to win games in order to have a chance at a postseason berth.
Wareham is expected to start Grayson Moore (Vanderbilt) who was named to the Cape Cod Baseball League all-star team. This will be Moore’s sixth appearance but just his second start. He has dazzled with a 0.68 ERA across 14.1 innings.
The Whitecaps are expected to start Heston Tole (Texas A) for the third time this season. Tole is the owner of a 3.85 ERA across 9.1 innings. He has just three strikeouts while surrendering 11 hits and six walks.
Wareham needs to win this game as they are seven points back of the Falmouth Commodores for the last playoff spot in the West. For complete game notes click here.
