THANK YOU FOR HANGING IN THERE BROADCAST VIEWERS -   As many of you know, we have partnered with Wareham Community Television this year and they are showing our games live on local cable access.  We are taking their video feed and integrating that into our live webstream that we are showing on UStreamTV.com.  There have been some bumps in the road as we have worked through a much more sophisticated broadcast setup.  However, we believe that we are through some of our issues and it has been worth the effort.  We discovered a connection issue with our high-speed internet that has now been resolved and improved some connectivity issues with WCTV.  As a result, we have a 4 camera setup that is among the best in the league.  Thanks to our braodcasters Chris Aliano and Eric Silverman for working through those issues and standing behind the concept.  Our broadcast Friday night of the Ranaudo/Barnes pitching matchup was viewed by hundreds of viewers from across the country.

DOUBLE-HEADERS WORKING FOR WAREHAM-   The poor weather that plagued the Cape for some time and forced a number of 7-inning double-headers around the league have proved beneficial for the Gatemen.  A 2-game sweep of the Hyannis Mets in the first double-header was followed by a 2-game tie with Cotuit and then a sweep of the Harwich Mariners.  In all, the Gatemen are 4-0-2 in double-headers; picking up 10 total points.

THANK YOU SAM ESHELMAN-  The "voice of the Gatemen", Sam Eshelman, has finished his second and final season in the Gatemen pressbox.  A recent graduate of Arizona State University where he served as the school's radion station program director, Sam proved to be one of the top broadcasters in the league and helped us deliver free, live broadcasts of over 44 games during the past two seasons from Spillane Field.  We wish Sam luck "in the real world"!  Justin Ienuso, also a Sun Devil, will return to Wareham next summer and step into the lead broadcast role after sitting next to Sam this past season.
